Performance Christianity vs. Intimacy with God with Jon Fugler

There’s nothing like putting on a show. Lights! Camera! Action!

Sometimes, our walk with Christ can be based on performance — making sure you dot the i’s and cross the t’s.

Did I read my bible today? Check!
Did I say a quick prayer? Check!
Did I visit someone sick and shut in? Check!

The checklist of things to do FOR God continue on. When we perform, we’re focusing on an outward appearance and not the inward. Now, to be clear, none of what I mentioned above is wrong. In fact, they are good things.

But God doesn’t want a performance. He wants a relationship WITH us.

So, how do we know if we’re preforming instead of developing a relationship? What are the signs? Does it matter?

These and many more questions we are going to answer as I chat with my returning guest co-host and contributor Jon Fugler today, October 16th at 5 pm Eastern time as we talk about this and about having FRESH FAITH 24/7.
